笙,这件历史悠久,流传广泛,富有民族特色的吹管乐器,缘何有如此缓慢的发展 速度?这的确是中国传统音乐研究必须思考的一个问题。我们只有从音乐史学 的角度探讨芏的萌生、传播、兴衰过程及其基本规律,才能把握其音乐跳动的脉 搏。

The sheng is a traditional Chinese national wind instrument with a long history. But why does it develop so slow？ This is a problem which has to be thought about in the research of traditional Chinesemusic. We should study the course and rule of its developing and spreading, also its rise and fall from the an^le of music history.
