Harmonious society needs mental health as its base. Mental health education needs information technology to support particularly. This article primarily focuses on： the importance and emergency of mental health soft environment to building harmonious society, the importance and emergency of children and young adults mental health education, the importance and emergency of children and young adults mental health education to young adults thinking and moral construction, the importance and emergency of web mental health education to solving the problem of deficient professional teachers. Then it summarizes the progress of mental health education research and web assistant system research. Based on the above, it emphasizes on the design of mental health education web assistant system.
