The Excessiveness of Theories and the Lack of Experiences

当代文学批评存在着理论过剩而经验匮乏的倾向。这是从20世纪80年代寻求新方法、新观念以来出现的倾向,并且由于先锋文学对批评的依赖而使得批评成为文学活动的中心,更加强化了批评脱离文学经验进行理论观念的自我演绎倾向。批评脱离文学经验而偏向理论演绎使得批评的公共知识价值正在丧失。

There is a tendency of excessiveness of theories and lack of experiences in contemporary literary criticism, emerging from 1980s’ pursuit of new methods and new conceptions. That the avant-garde literature relies heavily on criticism makes it possible that criticism has become the center of literary activities, thus promoting the tendency of theoretical self-deduction while distancing from literary experience, the result of which is the loss of public intellectual values.
