基于压缩域的关键帧快速提取方法

摘要 关键帧提取技术是基于内容检索和视频分析的基础。关键帧的使用减少了视频索引的数据量,同时也为视频和检索提供了一个组织框架。首先介绍了目前的关键帧提取技术,然后提出了一种基于运动特征利用模糊推理算法从MPEG视频流中提取关键帧的方法。由于处理过程是直接从MPEG的压缩视频提取,不需对其解压,所以计算复杂度低,提高了提取速度。实验证明该方法效率高,可以比较好地代表视频内容。 Key frame extraction is a fundamental processes for content-base video retrieval and video analysis. Key frame can dramatically reduce the data of the video indexing, and provide a framework for video abstraction and retrieval. In this paper, at first briefly discuss the existing approaches, and then present a motion feature based key frame extracting method using fuzzy reasoning theory for MPEG compressed video. By performing minimal decoding on compressed bit stream, computational complexity is reduced, and the processing speed can be highly improved. Experiments show that this proposed approach is efficient and can make a good representation for video contents.
