摘要
外语学习者在词义认知过程中,当词义水平达到一定程度后,对词义的认知不如像最初阶段那样稳步的提高,而是呈现一种停滞不前的徘徊状态,这就是词义认知过程中的石化现象。石化现象对学习者认知词义连成了极强的负面效应。
In the process of cognition, when the foreign language learners reach a certain level, their ability to learn the words becomes permanent instead of steadily improving like they do in the initial stage of learning. This is known as fossilization in foreign language learning, which can bring about a negative effect on the learners' cognition of the word meaning. The manifestations and reasons of fossilization are analyzed and some ways to get rid of fossilization in cognition of word meaning are proposed in the paper.
