A Brief Look into Electronic Files

电子文件和档案具有科学技术先进的优势,但并不等于就可以取代纸质文件和档案。由 于其自身存在无法克服的局限性,因此,在相当长时期内纸质仍将成为现行文件和档案信息存储和 利用的主要载体,若能将二者有机结合,实施配套管理,就能长久保存档案信息,最大限度地发挥档 案的作用。

Electronic files, although being scientifically and technologically advanced, can not replace paper files. Owing to the shortcomings of electronic files which are difficult to tackle, paper files, in the long run, will still be the main carrier of document storage and utilization. However, the combination of the two can surely help management of files function most effectively.
