Gansu Yinguang Chemical Group Company. Ltd. has put on stream a 24kt/a TDI production unit and is cranking out quality product with a purity reaching 99.7% TDI. Through commissioning the new TDI unit Yinguang Chemical Group Company now boasts a TDI production capacity of 50 kt/a, making it the largest in China TDI producer. The investment in the 24kt/a TDI production unit, construction of which was commenced in September 2003, totals 235 million RMB. It is told that this project has adopted the 50kt/a packaged manufacturing process software and is the first TDI unit that is constructed using domestic independent proprietary intellectual property rights licensed by this enterprise.
