On Why R&D Input Should Be Raised in the Transforming Period

从实证与定量的角度分析R&D经费投入与经济增长的关系可得出它们呈显著正相关的结论,由此我们可以建立相应的回归模型。我国R&D经费投入的现状不容乐观,研发经费投入水平低,基础研究与应用研究的比例偏低。所以加大R&D经费投入促进经济增长必须有科学的策略。

Analyzing from positive and quantitative angles, we can get the result that R＆D input is correlated with GDP growth. Our present R＆D input is far from adequate and research fund is too little and the proportion of basic research and applied science research input is too low. Therefore scientific strategies are needed to raise R＆D input to stimulate economic growth.
