A gelling agent(G-1)for oils has been synthesized from N-lauroylglutaminic acid and butylamine,and thin proves to be exactly correct by elemental analysis and IR, and the melting point of the compounds has been determined. The principle of reactions and effect of some variables on synthesis are investigated. The property and usage of the compound are introduced.
