摘要
目的探索预防口腔医学理论课程双语教学的方法和途径,评价教学效果和分析存在问题。方法1998级、1999级和2000级口腔医学专业学生预防口腔医学课程教学分别采用1节课双语、1/3课程双语和全部课程双语授课,用问卷结果和考试成绩(1999级和2000级用相同试卷)进行考核与评价。结果1998级、1999级和2000级学生的考试平均成绩分别为85.3±7.8分、81.9±7.8分和82.2±9.7分。双语教学对专业学习是否有帮助的肯定回答,1998级、1999级和2000级学生分别为80.7%、92.3%和93.5%。赞成英语教学的1998级、1999级和2000级学生分别为23.1%、26.0%和19.6%。结论评价分析说明学生普遍可以接受双语教学,考试结果表明双语教学效果良好。问卷结果提示,教学双方的外语水平是影响开展专业理论课双语教学的关键因素。
Objective To explore the methodology for bilingual lectures of preventive dentistry and to evaluate the effectiveness and the issues of the lecture. Methods The evaluation was carried out by the examination and the questionnaire after the bilingual lecture that is for the students of three classes ( 1998, 1999 and 2000) in different levels ( one lecture, 1/3 of all lectures and all lectures). Results The mean exam scores were 85.3 ± 7.8,81.9 ± 7.8 and 82.2 ± 9.7 for class 1998, 1999 and 2000 respectively. The respond to bilingual lecture is better for study of preventive dentistry were 80.7% ,92.3% and 93.5% for class 1998, 1999 and 2000 respectively. The student that was in favor with the lecture in English language were 23.1% ,26.0% and 19.6% in class 1998, 1999 and 2000 respectively. Conclusion The evaluation is indicated that bilingual lecture is suitable for the students and its effectiveness is fine. The results of the questionnaire is showed that English language is key factor to both teaches and students for bilingual lecture.
