The theory of fatigue cumulative damage, prediction method for life of fatigue crack formation and analysis method for life of fatigue crack expanding are summarized. The common theories and methods are introduced, respectively. The advantages and disadvantages of different theories and methods are pointed out. The development trends of them are prospected.
