This paper mainly discusses the knife grinding technique of splitting,the operation and the key points,the merits and demerits of the sectional shape of grinded band-knife,and the error situation which occurs at knife grinding,The real significance is to expound the major factors of influence the splitting quality in the normal precision of splitting machine,to show how importance it is for a splitting technician to correctly control and enhance the knife grinding technique.
