执政的中国共产党,如何把自己的党建设好,既关系到党的执政地位能否巩固和党在人民群众心目中的威望,又关系到中国能否坚持走社会主义道路、如期实现现代化伟业的宏伟目标。邓小平在继承了毛泽东建党理论的基础上,走出了一条不靠搞政治运动,而靠严肃党的纪律、改革和完善党的制度来全面加强党的建设的新路子,大大丰富和发展了我们党关于党的建设的思想。
