The railway, which connects all trades of our national economy, is often the first aim of terrorism. In fact, the nation splitting force, violent terrorism force and ultrareligious force from Xinjiang and Tibet have already threatened the railway seriously. Facing the grave situation, we must strengthen our defense and safeguard to work against the menace potential and protect the aims which are probably attacked by the terrorists from being destroyed. According to the railway＇s situation, our defense should focus on such points as the following： to set up and perfect the anti - terrorism system, to enhance the propaganda and make the public have the sense of defense, to make the purpose clear and the responsibility put into effect, to get information with some methods, to enhance the supervision and management of dangerous articles, etc.
