重夸克在密度介质中的能量损失(英文)

摘要 基于G-W模型,讨论了高能重离子碰撞中热密QCD介质诱导胶子辐射所导致的部分子能量损失;采用光锥路径积分(LCP I)方法研究了有限的夸克胶子等离子体(QGP)区域中重夸克能量损失,导出了计算能量损失的解析表达式.计算结果显示,考虑了质量效应的重夸克辐射能量损失较忽略质量的轻夸克辐射能量损失有明显的压低;对高能夸克,其辐射能量损失与介质长度的平方成正比,随着能量的降低,平方关系变为线性依赖. Based on G-W model and the light-cone path integral approach, induced gluon radiation and energy loss of heavy quark in dense QCD medium are discussed. An analytical formula of the energy loss of heavy quark is derived. The results show that the quark energy loss obviously depends on the mass of quark, i. e. a remarkable suppression occurs in the case of heavy quark comparing to a light one. The radiative energy loss of energetic quark is proportional to L2 , where L is the length of the medium. The dependence of energy loss on L2 turns to L with decreasing quark energy.
