中间势力与第二次国共合作述评

A Brief Account of the Contribution of the Intermediate Force to the Second Cooperation Between the CPC and Kuomintang

在中国政治舞台上,中间势力扮演了十分重要的角色,发挥着独特的作用。当中日民族矛盾日益加深、民族危机日趋严重之时,中间人士满怀国家兴亡、匹夫有责的爱国热情,最先提出了国共合作、联合抗日的政治主张以及谋求国共两党合作抗日的具体办法,对建立以国共合作为基础的抗日民族统一战线起了积极的促进作用;当国共矛盾愈演愈烈之时,他们又奔走于国共两党之间,调解矛盾,平息内争,沟通歧见,防止国共矛盾进一步激化,维护了团结抗日的局面,对坚持持久抗战起到了无可替代的作用。中间势力为抗日战争的胜利做出的特殊贡献,成为中华民族抗战中不可缺少的重要组成部分。

The intermediate force played a very important role on the political stage in China＇s revolutionary history. With great patriotic passion, they first put forward the notion of cooperative fight between the CPC and Kuomintang against the Japanese invaders while the China-Japan conflicts were intensified and the national crisis grew more severe. Their efforts greatly strengthened the unity of the two parties on the basis of the cooperation. Meanwhile, they tried all their might to mediate and help to settle disputes, and urged them to communicate when very fierce conflicts arose between the two parties, thus they played an important role by preventing any further fight. Being a vital component, the intermediate force made unique contribution to China＇s victory in the Anti-Japanese war.
