Review on Construction of Three Systems in Industrialization of Hybrid Rice

作者认为中国杂交水稻的育种技术体系需在解决五大实际问题的基础上加以完善,包括实用不育系选育、双季稻区超级杂交稻组合选育、杂交水稻优质化、杂交水稻的抗逆性和适应性育种、以及长江流域杂交早稻育种。健全杂交水稻种子管理体系,需要规范品种管理,推进国际合作和国际商贸。杂交水稻技术推广体系建设的工作重点是强化配套栽培技术的研究和推广应用。

The author consider that the breeding technique system of hybrid rice in China should be consummated on the base of resolving 5 practical questions which include practical male sterile lines breeding, super hybrid rice combinations selecting in double cropping area, quality improvement of hybrid flee, breeding of hybrid rice for the improvement of stress tolerance and adapta- bility, and breeding of hybrid rice for early season cropping in the valley of Changjiang River. In addition, for improving the seed management system of hybrid flee, it is needed to standardize the seed industry management and promote international cooperation. The key work for the technology extension system of hybrid rice is to intensify the study of corresponding cultivation and application technology of hybrid rice.
