从源头抓起——如何看待实证研究的科学性

本文主要是笔者两年来讲授“第二语言研究方法”一课的一些体会和思考,结合当前我国外语教学研究中实证研究的现状,阐述笔者对实证研究的看法和认识,以期引起更多研究方法的学习者和使用者对实证研究更为客观的、科学的认识和使用。

This paper is mainly based on the arthor＇ s experiences of teaching a graduate course, Second Language Research Methods, and on consideration of the increasing number of research reports on second language acquisition and learning. Via analyses of the major threats to scientific researches in China at the present, this paper intends to illustrate views on doing scientific researches. No matter how various the purposes of doing researches may be, all people concerned should adopt an objective, critical, and scientific attitude. What＇s more, a careful and perhaps time-consuming literature review is the most needed for the achievement of doing scientificresearches.
