汉语中的“的”,在英语中很难找到与之完全对应的词,因此“的”的英译很值得研究。本文列举了大量译例,详尽分析、归纳了法律文件中“的”形成的形容词性单位英译的各种不同的技巧和方法。

In most cases, the Chinese “de” has no English equivalent, which makes it important the study of the translation of “de” into English. This article is an attempt to summarize, by analyzing some of the English translations of adjectivals consisting of “de” in legal documents, the possible ways of dealing with such adjectivals in E- C translation.
