On the Security Method and Its Implementation of Novell Network

为文件服务器提供安全保障是ＮｏｖｅｌｌＮｅｔｗａｒｅ的重要特色。网络上的安全性是以四种不同的方式进行管理，从Ｎｅｔｗａｒｅ３８６Ｖ３．１１的这种四级安全机制出发，通过分析各安全机制在网络环境安全中的作用及具体的设置要求，结合对教学网络环境中用户注册安全的各参数设置、用户对目录和文件的访问权限、以及系统目录和文件的属性等安全性问题的分析与具体参数设置，提出了在Ｎｏｖｅｌｌ网上一般安全性问题的解决方案及实施步骤。

One important characteristic of Novell Network is providing safe guarantee for servers.The security of networks is managed in four ways.In this paper,the roles and set-up requirements under the network circumstance of each security mechanism are analysed from the point of 4-levels security mechanisms of Netware 386 V3. 11. Then some security problems of the teaching network circumstance,such as parameters installation for users' enrolling safely,users'access authority to directories and documents and the predicates of system directory and documents,are discussed. Moreover,solutions and procedures for general security problems of Novell network are proposed.
