汉语本科专业的外国留学生在毕业论文写作上具有自身的优势和不足，表现出与中国语言文学专业的本科生不甚相同的兴趣和特点。其写作特点是选题范围宽广，具有强烈的对比意识和开阔的跨文化视野。其不足为有的不符合论文标准，文体混杂，语体不符，结构安排不当，字词、语法方面尚有不少错误等。目前在论文指导方面尚存在对留学生毕业论文的性质认识不清、要求不严格、指导不规范等诸多问题。

As for the writing of Chinese graduation thesis by foreign students for a four-year college program, they have their strong and weak points, interests and features while compared with the Chinese students at the same level. The strong points include a wide range of topics, a strong sense of contrast and a broad vision. Their weak points include a poor format, style, usage, structure and grammar. At present, there is an unclear understanding, a loose requirement and poor instruction for their graduation thesis.
