The paper deals mainly with the pragmatic inference and semantic analysis of denominal verbs of transparent incorporation in sentences with respect to semantics and pragmatics. It holds the view that the meaning of the sentences with denominal verbs can be deduced through the one-step N→V conversion or more than one-step N→V conversion. The paper explains the reasons for the exclusion of the sentences with denominal verbs in contemporary Chinese as well.
