口腔鳞癌中NF-kappaB/p50的表达及意义

EXPRESSION AND SIGNIFICANCE OF NF-kappaB/p50 IN ORAL SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA

目的研究核转录因子NF-kappaB/p50在口腔鳞癌中的表达及意义。方法运用免疫组化法检测67例口腔鳞癌(包括39例不伴、28例伴淋巴结转移的原发灶)、28例淋巴结转移灶及23例口腔粘膜白斑、12例癌旁正常口腔粘膜组织中NF-kappaB/p50的表达情况。结果67例口腔鳞癌组织中21例有NF-kappaB/p50的异常表达;而正常口腔粘膜组织中无表达,口腔粘膜白斑中仅有少量表达。有淋巴结转移较无淋巴结转移的原发灶相比,NF-kappaB/p50的表达明显增高(16/28∶5/39);而其在淋巴结转移灶中的表达进一步增高(23/28)。NF-kappaB/p50在口腔鳞癌中的表达与组织分化程度、pTNM分期及患者的年龄、性别等临床病理参数无关。结论NF-kappaB/p50在口腔鳞癌及其淋巴结转移灶中的异常高表达,提示NF-kappaB/p50很可能是口腔粘膜上皮癌变及恶性进展进程中一重要的调控因子。

Objective： To investigate the expression and significance of a nuclear factor, NF - kappaB/p50, in oral squamous cell carcinoma （OSCC）. Methods： The expression of NF- kappaB/p50 was detecte6 by immunohistochemistry in 67 OSCC （39 without metastasis, 28 primary foci plus 28 lymph node metastases）, 23 oral leukoplasia and 12 normal oral squamous epithelia adjacent to turnouts. Results： The aberrant expression of NF - kappaB/p50 was detected in 31.3 % （21/67） of OSCC while there was no expression of NF- kappaB/p50 in normal oral squamous epithelium adjacent to tumours or less expression in leukoplakia. The expression of NF - kappaB/p50 was obviously higher in primary OSCC lesion with metastasis than without metastasis （ 16/28 versus 5/39）, and it was even higher in lymph node metastasis （23/28）. The NF- kappaB/p50 expression was not statistically related with the differentiation, pTNM of tumour, age and sex. Conclusion： The aberrant high expression of NF - kappaB/p50 in OSCC and lymph metastasis lesion predicts that NF - kappaB/p50 might be a key factor in the process of carcinogenesis and malignant evolvement of oral squamous epithelia.
