摘要
提出了一种基于二级体素表达方法的STL模型镂空算法,与以往的算法相比,它适应于各种复杂的STL模型,能进行任意厚度的等壁厚镂空而不会出现干涉等错误现象。通过引入二级体素的方法其内存占用量可控制在传统体素表达方法的1/10。该算法已在快速成型领域获得成功应用,节约了大量昂贵的快速成型材料并提高了加工速度。
A new algorithm of hollowing STL model based on second-level voxel representation has been proposed,capable of very complex STL models by any thickness without any interference or other mistake,compared with previous algorithms.By using the second-level voxel representation technology ,the required memory was only one tenth of what the original algorithm did.The algorithm has been used on rapid prototyping domain to save substantive material and speedup the manufacture process.
