摘要
越来越多的IEEE 802.15.4设备的使用需要一种开放的网络层标准以实现互连互通.通过分析IEEE 802.15.4特性和IPv6协议,本文选择IPv6作为IEEE 802.15.4的开放性网络层标准,提出了基于IEEE 802.15.4的IPv6地址配置机制I、Pv6组播地址和MAC映射机制、被动式重复地址检测机制和中间层分片组片机制,简化并改进了地址解析功能.这些机制降低了系统功耗和协议复杂度,改善了系统性能,使IPv6在IEEE 802.15.4上的实现变成可能.
More and more IEEE 802.15.4 device application implies the need for an open standard enabling communications among them. After the study of IEEE 802.15.4 and the IPv6 protocol features, we choose IPv6 as the open standard for the network layer over IEEE 802.15.4, propose the mechanism for IPv6 address configuration, the multicast addresses to MAC addresses mapping, passive DAD, and fragment and reassembly at a layer below IPv6. Also we simplify and improve the function of address resolution. They reduce the power consumption and protocol complexity, improve the system performance, and make the IPv6 over IEEE 802.15.4. implementation possible.
