新乡市外语培训机构现状的调查及反思

Investigations and Reflections on the Present Situation of Foreign Language Institutes in Xinxiang City

当今社会各种竞争日益激烈,英语作为一门世界性语言越来越受到人们重视.近年来新乡外语培训机构林林总总,笔者在2004年暑假期间走访了几家较具规模和竞争实力的外语培训机构,对他们的招生情况进行了初步的调查,并根据调查结果,对一些看似反常的现象进行了详细的分析.笔者认为反常现象其实并不反常,其背后都有其深刻的原因.最后,笔者对新乡市各外语培训机构今后的发展提出了一些个人的意见和建议,希望能对他们有所帮助,同时也希望在各培训机构的共同努力下,新乡市的外语培训市场能早日步入正轨.

In the summer holiday of 2004, many English training institutes were situated in the City of Xinxiang. The writer visited several training institutes with relatively large scale and competitive strength and investigated their recruiting condition. According to the investigation results, the writer made some analyses about the seemingly abnormal phenomena and found the corresponding reasons. In the end, the writer also put forward some private suggestions for the future development of these training institutes and hoped that the whole training market in Xinxiang would be put on the right track earlier under the cooperation of all the training institutes.
