高职英语教育基础性与实用性有机结合的有益尝试——《基础英语教程》与《交际英语教程》述评

A Helpful Try to Combine the State of Being Basic and Practicability about English Education of Professorship ——On Essential English Course and Communicative English Course

我国高等专科非英语专业英语教育费时低效,教材内容与大纲词汇表滞后是其原因之一。教材由于侧重语言知识的基础性,忽视了语言的实用性,结果是学生英语语言知识学了不少,但其实用性不大。而今以高等专业技能实用型人才为培养目标的高职教育需要外语教学改革,要把英语教育的基础性与实用性有机结合起来。为此,首先应从教材的编写上着手进行探索。《基础英语教程》与《交际英语教程》在这方面做了有益的尝试。

To put in more time but to obtain poor efficiency is the present condition of our country in non-English majors of colleges. One of its reasons is that the content of the teaching material and the outline word list lag behind. The emphasis is laid on learning the language knowledge while the practicability of the language is ignored. The result is that students have learned much English language knowledge, but they are unpractical. High professional practical talents with technical abilities as the train objective now need the reform in foreign language teaching. It should combine the state of being basic and practicability about English education. So, to compile the teaching course should be set about exploring at first.
