The first Shopping Mall invested by Jinyuan Corporation will start its business in October 2004. Faced with some challenges the new Shopping Mall should blaze new trails in its market orientation and ad- ministration and avoid making very slim profits like most Beijing department stores. Jinyuan Shopping Mall tries some new ways in target consumer orientation, management and business model. If they go in line with the demand of the market the new Shopping Mall will be blessed with abundant opportunities against the background of large consumption market and great consumption potential in Beijing.
