From Resistance against Japan to Peaceful Reunificationthe New Phase of the Cooperation between KMT and CPC

抗日战争时期,为了民族的利益,中国共产党与国民党走到了一起进行了第二次合作,从而取得了抗战的胜利。60年后研究这段历史,对新的历史条件下两党再次合作,共创中华民族的和平、发展、繁荣,实现祖国和平统一,具有重要的意义。

During the War of Resistance against Japan （1937-1943）, the Chinese Communist Party （CPC） and the Kuomintang （KMT） joined hands to fight for the Chinese nation, thus starting the second cooperation between the two parties and ensuring the final victory of the war. Reexamining the history sixty years later, we can safely conclude that it is highly likely for the two parties to cooperate again to achieve reunification of our motherland, hence attaining the goal of peace, development and prosperity.
