康有为绘画改良思想刍议

On Kang Youwei's Thought of Reforming Painting

康有为是中国近代史上伟大的思想、政治改良者,他在绘画上也提出了一些变革的主张,在强调绘画的功用,提倡西洋画,贬抑文人画方面都有鲜明的论点,虽有失偏颇,但给当时沉寂的中国画坛刮来了新风,并冲击、影响了中国的绘画技法和美学观念。

Kang You-wei, one of the greatest reformers in thought and politics in Chinese modern history, put forward some reformative ideas in painting as well. He emphasized the functions of painting, recommended Western paintings, and belittled drawings of Chinese scholars. Though he couldn＇t justify himself completely, his new beliefs provided then Chinese painters with new insights, and exerted strong influences on painting skills and aesthetics.
