躲不开的悲剧——试论刘庆邦的矿井小说

Unescapable Tragedy——On Liu Qingbang's Mine Fictions

本文以刘庆邦的一篇短篇小说名来命名,是想说明其矿井小说中人物命运的悲剧性。刘在邦的小说书写了煤矿工人的坚忍与悲命。另外,矿井,处于传统与现代之间,其间的人物向往着城市而又被城市所疏远,反叛了农村却又依恋于农村,在身份认同中寓含了悲剧。再者,在小说的写作中,刘庆邦由于应俗而倾向于性与暴力,致使文章失美,其小说创作的命运结局也许只能是一出“躲不开的悲剧”。

t is for the sake of disclosing the tragic fate of the characters in his Mine Fictions that this paper is named after one of Liu Qingbang＇s short stories. Liu＇s fictions depict the perseverance and tragic fate of coal miners, The mine, wedged between the traditional and the modern, shows its characters yearning for cities and yet estranged from them, rebelling against the countryside while finding themselves clinging to it, thus suggesting a tragedy in their identification. Liu＇s fictions also try to cater to the vulgar taste by resorting to sex and violence, very much at the cost of their aesthetic value. The only possible fate of his fictions then may be nothing but “an unescapable tragedy.”
