Situation of Asia’s Security and Cooperation and China’s Diplomacy

和平、发展、合作是亚洲形势发展的主流.美国加大在亚洲的军事投入、美日强化军事同盟以及朝核问题日益突出使亚洲局势复杂化.中国坚持以邻为伴、与邻为善和睦邻、安邻、富邻的基本外交理念和政策,在促进亚洲安全与合作的实践方面取得了积极的成效.

Peace, development and cooperation are the mainstreams in the course of development in Asia. But the situation in Asia has become complicated due to the increase of the U.S. military involvement in the region, strengthening of the U.S.-Japan military alliance and growing prominence of the Korean nuclear issue. By upholding the basic principles in its foreign policy, China is able to build good-neighborly relations with its neighboring countries and bring harmony, security and prosperity to them. In so doing, positive results have been achieved in practice of promoting Asian security and cooperation.
