Political events in March this year led to the regime change in Kirghizstan owning to the failure to resolve long-lasting problems in economic, political and social problems in the country, as well as the infiltration of the foreign influences. The new regime will face numerous challenges, including political instability, the intractable economic and social problems for a long time and its inability to balance its relations with the big powers. The geo-political situation in Central Asia has thus become shakier.
