乌拉古城自古以来就是军事、交通之要冲。其始建发轫于唐代之渤海，历经金、元、明、清，皆为“雄长 此间争”之重地。随着历史的发展，乌拉古城也相应地发生了变化，本文通过对乌拉古城历史沿革的叙述，管窥其发展、 变迁的轨迹。

Wula ancient castle was an important military and communication spot. It firstly was constructed in Bohai Power of Tang Dynasty. Later, it went through Jin Dynasty , Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. Evolution of Wula ancient castle recorded historical changes.
