Research of the Part of Network Video Transmission for VOD System

文中介绍视频点播(VOD)系统的基本框架及TCP/IP的Socket网络编程接口,并给出利用它在网络上进行视频传输的简易点播系统。这对于今后VOD系统的进一步研究有重要意义。

In this paper, the mainframe of VOD system and the Socket programmable network interface based on TCP/IP is introduced. With the use of it, a simple VOD system for video transmission over networks is presented. All of them are very important in research of VOD systems.
