The rheological and aggregate behaviors of the viscoelastic surfactant solution（VSE） were introduced. Several kinds of evaluation methods and apparatus for viscoelastic surfactant systems were reviewed, including small amplitude harmoric perpendicular, PLM, SEM,and NMR methods.
