On the Conception of Manchu Language Translation

经过长期的发展,“翻译无理论”、“翻译理论无用”的观点已被摒弃。人们重视翻译实践活动,也充分肯定翻译理论的重要性。在长期的满文翻译实践中形成的翻译方法、技巧等理论成果,直接指导着满汉翻译实践。基于当代翻译理论,我们对满文翻译理论和实践的认识不断深入。树立正确的满文翻译观,对于提高满文翻译能力,更好地开展满文古籍文献整理翻译、科研教学工作是十分必要的。

The views of translation having no theory and translation theory playing no role have been abandoned after a long improvement. Translation theory has been paid the same attention as translation work. The translation theory such as way and skill originated from practice directly guides the actual translation of Manchu and Chinese. Just based on the modem translation theory, the understanding on Manchu translation theory and practice can deepen increasingly. So setting up the right conception is essential for us to improve the ability to translate Manchu, to do better in sorting out the Manchu literatures and in study and teaching work related.
