Seed&Seedling Standardization Project of Chinese Medicinal Materials

本文比较分析了我国中药材种子种苗工作现状,指出其核心问题一是没有优良品种,二是管理真空。在此基础上,提出了中药材种子种苗标准化工程并论述了其主要内容:开展四项研究, 即种质资源评价、新品种选育、种子加工和种子质量标准的研究;建设两个体系,即中药材品种审／鉴定体系和原良种繁育生产体系;以及建设一个种子质量检测中心和一个种质资源库。通过研究与建设,推进中药材品种标准化、种子生产标准化、种子检测标准化、种质保存标准化。论文最后指出中药材种子种苗标准化工程需要全国力量共同参与、在国家集中支持下,以新品种选育为突破口,快速推进,以适应中药材规范化生产的要求。

Two key problems of the seed and seedling situation of Chinese Medicinal Materials have been put forward： one is being short of good varieties, and another is very weak administration. So seed＆seedling standardization project of Chinese Medicinal Materials is suggested and its content is discussed. The first side of the project is to carry out four pieces of research： germplasm resources evaluation, new variety breeding, seed processing research and seed quality standards research. The second is to construct two systems： authorized or appraised system and propagation system of new varieties of Chinese medicinal Materials. The third is to establish a seed quality testing center and a germplasm recourses bank. The aims of these researches and construction are to promote the varieties standardization, seed production standardization, seed quality testing standardization and germplasm resources conservation standardization, of Chinese Medicinal Materials. To fulfill the project, the intensified supports from the government and the participation of the whole community are necessary and the key point is the new varieties breeding.
