The guidance of political economy to social practice depends on the continous enrichment and development of the discipline itself, by which its qualities of being scientific, practical and suitable, as well as its academic values can be improved. Some differences in the academic field are unfavorable for the further development of political economy. In order to promote the academic research, the basic direction of discipline development must be analyzed and cleared.
