This paper points out the existing problems and the main reasons of the thermal conductivity instrument type TD-TC-Ⅱ according to the experimental principles and methods of measuring the thermal conductivity. Then, it puts forward the detailed solutions to these problems. The experimental comparison before and after the improvement indicates that the improved instrument can increase the experimental efficiency and lessen errors.
