摘要
语篇分析理论为传统的外语教学带来了一场革命。该理论强调从宏观角度对语篇进行分析,将读者的积极参与引入教学中,力图培养学生英语综合应用能力,对大学英语阅读教学有着现实的指导意义及应用价值。本文着重讨论了该理论中重要的一方面——语境,并将探讨语境如何帮助理解语篇,提出了自己在语篇教学实践中的某些有益尝试。
The theory of discourse analysis has brought about a revolution to traditional English teaching in China.It makes a global analysis of discourse and offers guidance to practical reading teaching. Furthermore, readers, the key element in the process of reading, are involved in teaching. The paper emphatically probes into one important aspect-context, and examines how one can comprehend a discourse with the help of the study of context. In this paper, some teaching activities guided by the principles are also discussed.
