长期以来写作学界一致把论点、论据和论证作为议论文三要素的通说是不确切的。因为,议论文的要素应该是有形的文字实体,论证是一种过程和方法,不能与论点、论据并列。三要素应该是结构要素,即论点、论据和结论。论证作为一种证明方法,它包含在论据之中。因此准确确立议论文的结构三要素,具有重要的意义。

Among writers there is a prevalent opinion that the main elements of argumentation - style writing is opinions, arguments, and reasoning. This paper objects that the main elements should be opinions, arguments, and conclusions, all relating to writing structure. Reasoning, as a method of argumentation, is not appropriate to be categorized with opinions and arguments, and in fact is contained in arguments. The paper explains the importance of correct understanding the three structural elements of argumentation - style writing.
