An analysis of the life cycle of small-and-medium-sized enterprise technological alliance

中小企业技术联盟的生命周期有着深刻的时代背景和历史必然性,与技术创新的经济属性密切相关。片面强调延长中小企业技术联盟的生命周期有违经济规律,政府应做的是为各种技术创新活动提供良好的制度环境。

In this paper, the characteristics of the R＆D capacity of small-and-medium-sized enterprises （SMEs） in China are first observed. Then by analyzing the economic attributes of technological innovations during different stages, the property of the life cycle of SMEs alliances is studied. The conclusion is drawn that it is unreasonable to over-emphasize the significance of prolonged life of SMEs alliances. What the government should do is to improve the institutional environment for technological innovations.
