The love story in Asya is Turgenev＇s culture metaphor about the societal future. As Russian aristocratic in telligentsia, who has diplex visual field of culture on western Europe and his country, Mr. N＇s perplexed love story refleets his anxious feeling on nation future and manifests his culture identity crisis.
