基于局域网的分布式VOD系统的设计与实现

Design and realization of the distributed VOD system based on LAN

为了提高高校的视音频教学资料的利用率,建立VOD系统并通过局域网进行访问是一个较为理想的方式。但建设一个VOD系统需要高性能的服务器、大容量的存储设备,这些都需要投入大量的资金。文中提出了一种基于局域网的分布式VOD系统,不仅可以充分地利用现有系统资源,而且也能取得较好的性能。

Building a VOD system based on LAN is an effective solution to improving the use of video and audio resources in colleges, but the number of memory for servers and storage device should be provided. A distributed VOD system based on LAN protocols is proposed, it not only uses the existing system resources fully, but also gains the better performance.
