南朝画像砖是古代墓室壁面上的图像砖,是继汉代画像砖之后考古发掘中的又一重大发现。其早期、鼎盛期、晚期众多画像砖上的不同图像,体现了这一历史时期不同的精神风貌和风格迥异的时代精神。

Southern Dynasties＇ s painting bricks were pictorial bricks painted on the wails of ancient tombs. It was a great discovery after painting bricks of Han dynasty. The different paintings in early stage , high peak stage and late stage reflected different time spirits.
