This paper introduces the head progressing construction technology of double row concrete pipes in sewage treatment project of Guangzhou. Balanced type multi-reamer pipe heading machine is adopted according to the pipeline arrangement, geological conditions and time schedule of the project, and the technical problems in construction are solved with the aid of effective technical measures. Requirements on quality and time schedule are met and the project is fulfilled with a satisfactory result.
