Based on IT＇s DSP TMS320LF2407A, a design method of bus interface and protocol conversion among RS-232, RS-485 and CAN bus is described in this article. Thus, the communication in these universal serial buses is made possible. Meanwhile, the functions of bus adapter, hardware circuits, software design and flow charts are dealt with. Then, a method for the connection in different bus and construction bus network is provided by the network interface in the bus adapter.
