ZHANG Jun-mai’s Viewpoints on Chinese and Western Culture

张君劢从对“人生观”这一文化转移“枢纽”的阐释为出发点,来抉发文化之源头、内涵及中西文化之异同。面对西学的强大冲击,在中国文化的出路何在的历史难题解答中,张君劢力倡在“继往”的基础上以求开“民族文化”之新。他对文化及文化发展出路的揭示,在当前我国文化和民主政治建设中具有一定的现实借鉴意义。

Zhang jun-mai explained his viewpoints on headwaters, meanings of culture and similarities and differences about Chinese and western culture from annotation of philosophy, “hinge” of culture transferring. In the face of impact of west learning, Zhang jun-mai advocated new national culture based on traditional culture so as to find the new development of Chinese culture. At present, his viewpoints about culture and cultural development, to some extent, are instructive for the culture and democracy construction in China.
