Abstract: The successful construction of small-size concrete masonry double-curvature arch dam in Xinkeng reservoir of Luhe County is the first case of this kind of darn building in Guangdong province. It helps the spreading of masonry double-curvature arch dam in Guangdong province. The paper mainly summarizes some experiences of improving traditional construction method, simplifying construction detail calculation. paying great attention to ground treatment and quality control in real construction practice.
